At Chambers at 0430 this morning with a group of friends - all the usual woodland summer migrants heard except Lesser Whitethroat. Only one Nightingale singing briefly in scrub south of Picnic area but first of the year for me. |

You were lucky getting that Nightingale singing Stuart, as Mary Porter giving her report on radio Lincolnshire this a.m. said she was getting worried because of not hearing one this year. Regards Mike Surr |
