First Hobby of the year was hawking insects over Teal Lake (where else!) at Whisby at 12.00pm today.

Around 3 Garden Warblers today, but the main arrival will probably appear sometime next week.

Nightingales have climbed painfully slowly to only 6 singing males so far; it may not be a good year for this species at Whisby.

Regards

Grahame
