Post subject:  Frampton & Witham End

My first trip onto the newly opened Frampton Marsh Reserve followed by a walk down to the mouth of the Witham on a glorious sunny day

Highlights included

many reed bunting
avocet 32
black tailed godwit 2
brent goose, well over a thousand on the salt marsh
5 little egret 4 on salt marsh
whimbrel 5 at the river mouth
grey plover 2 river mouth
corn bunting
swallow 1 all day!
grasshopper warbler 1 showing well just 500 yards or so down the river bank and off the reserve
ruff 2 - one really black individual
garganey from 360 hide but hidden must of the day
2 yellow wagtails with the cows
little ringed plover 2
