Our first cuckoo of the year at Far Ings NNR tonight. Heard calling near new VC then it flew to the east and called again for a while. A pleasant hour or so in evening sunshine also produced: 2 Reed Warbler 1 Marsh Harrier (over) 7 Blackcap 2 Chiffchaff 1 Willow Warbler Lots Swallow/Sand Martin + the usuals M&M |
