Post subject:  Common (Mealy) Redpoll

Common Redpoll still present in Bob Sheppard's garden in Bourne today along with good numbers of Siskins. First seen, when caught and ringed, on 19th March; this was very much a surprise as there have been no Lesser Redpolls this year. Also present on Saturday (21st) was a Belgian-ringed Siskin.
