Worlaby Carrs: 1045 - 1415 windy, sunny and not as cold as above

Marsh Harrier - 2
Merlin - 1 female
Kestrel - 2
Common Buzzard - 3
Peregrine - 1
Curlew - 4
Redshank - 1
Pied Wag - 1
Lapwing - 11
Black-headed Gull - 38 [over]
Goldfinch - 7
Mallard - 9
Meadow Pipit - 6
Mute Swan - 2
Greylag - 2 [over]
Grey Heron - 2
Shelduck - 2
Teal - 24
Reed Bunting - 1 m
Red-leg Partridge - 2

Laughton Forest: 1500 - 1615 sunny and windy

Grey Heron - 1 [going west then returned to the woods]
Common Buzzard - 1 [East Ferry side going over the road]
Behind the Buzzard over the edge of the trees was a large sized bird,not a Grey Heron and not another buzz, it was bigger than the size of a Grey Heron. From where I was standing next to the small stream on East Ferry road it looked a pale colour with fair sized wings and was circling. I don't want to make a fool of myself so won't say what I was thinking it was. Maybe if others are in the area they can keep an eye out.

I was really pleased to get one Merlin but to get two made for the perfect day! :D
