HI

Early morning down the marsh produced:

Twite - approx 50 birds with approx 20 linnets showing amazingly well. They are feeding on the bunds around the scrapes and sometimes come right next to the road. Viewing is best from near the small "viewing mound" alongside the road. At least three colour ringed birds present.
Chiffchaff - 2 birds singing were the first of the year here.
White-fronted goose - 6 still
Ruff - 3 still
Whooper swan - 40 flew north first thing.
Coot - a record breaking 17 was a minimun count.

Cheers,
PF.
