4 Pintail viewed from Ness Hide (2m2f)
1 Marsh Harrier (f)

Also what I think is a Snow Goose (Small white goose, red beak, black in tail feathers) on pit to left of road just past entrance to Ness Farm.
It was amongst 20 Greylag and they all flew off to graze the field just to the SE of the pit. (Ross's Goose??)

Hi Dave, there has been a Ross's Goose in the area over the past couple of years that associates with the Greylag's.It is a much smaller goose overall, when compared to Snow Goose, with a small pinkish red bill, usually with a scarlet area on the upper mandible and pinkish leg's,the primaries show black when closed as you described.I havn't seen this particular bird this year, but i imagine it could be this individual.

Regards

Steve.
