Visited the former for the first time. 4 Marsh Harriers and 2 Buzzards, 14 Snipe, 3 Herons and at least 6 displaying Lapwings were prominent as well as a mixed flock of 65 Greenfinch/Goldfinch. At MSQ (first visit for 20 years and looking very well managed) 37 Whooper Swans, 2 Sand Martins and 1 Chiffchaff in the conifers were the highlights. |
