Hi Grahame,

I reported the Oystercatcher to the BTO as instructed by their web site about 2 weeks ago when I first saw them. I havn't had any feed back from them which was disappointing. One thing I couldn't confirm to them was if the bird had a ring and of what colour so that was probuly the reason they havn't come back.

I was there about 10.30 this morning both birds were still present.

If you get any further info please let me know.

Thanks Mark

Your report from Sunday looked far more interesting to mine from Saturday. What a difference a lack of wind and some sunshine can make

Jobs Lane Monday 07:00 to 08:00 and then a quick 10 minutes at midday

Song Thrush
Lapwing about 24 increasing to about 60 by midday
Redshank 1 (gone midday)
Oystercatcher 2 (no rings or colouring that I could see)
Great Black Backed Gull 3
Little Owl
Redpoll
Ringed Plover 4 (none first thing this morning)
Little Ringed Plover 1 (on Silt Lagoon)
Yellowhammer
Teal 2
