What a great day today, sunshine most of the morning and lots of enjoyment. En route 2 Barn Owl and 2 Kestrel Laughton: Large Number of Crossbill, very mobile so hard to get amount! But at least 30 9 Common Buzzard 1 Sparrowhawk 2 Grey Heron 2 Willow Tit 1 Treecreeper 2 Chiffchaff Usual tit sp 4 GS Woodpecker and Green Woodpecker calling. MSQ - just an hours visit late afternoon. Lots of Frogs, Newts and Toads as well as the following birds: 4 Willow Tit 1 Goldcrest 1 Kingfisher 3 Reed Bunting (2m1f) 2 GS Woodpecker 1 Chiffchaff Nice to meet up with Steve, Colin, Bob and Pete!
