Post subject:  Kirkby Treble

Having spent a very good day doing a Kirkby Treble, spoilt by spending nearly 4 hours trying to get on the bird line.
Moor Farm, 0930 to 1100
3 Green Woodpeckers,
1 GS Woodpecker
2 Song Thrush,
Loads of Frogs and spawn in the pond,
Jay

Kirkby Moor 1110 to 1200
2 pr. Gadwall
2 Dab chick
Tufted Duck
1 GS Woodpecker
Heard lots of Green Woodpeckers, but only saw 1

Kirkby Gravel Pits 1230 to 1330

Chiffchaff singing on right of Hide
3 Buzzard
Shelduck
Gadwall
Goldeneye
Pied Wagtail
Wigeon
Dunnock
Green Woodpecker
Dab chick
Teal
Lapwing
Red Shank
Common Sandpiper
3 pair of GC Grebe displaying, with 4 more not paired up

Am hoping to do the same circuit next Sunday,
