Good views of presumably, the long-stayer, hunting low south of the road and close to it (TF308785) at 16.30, before flying south into valley. Also, tawny owl calling from plantation south of Oxcombe at 13.00, never heard one call during the day, and large flock (80-100) fieldfare above Farforth - thought they would be on their way by now.
