First visit for over 2 years. 11.30-15.15 Highlight was a pair (poss 2 pairs) Marsh harriers over Ness Pit and Barton Reed Bed. Single goldeneye on Target Pit Large numbers of greylags on surrounding fields 14 shelduck on Chowder Ness mudflats Large flocks of dunlin and curlew on foreshore. Plus a good selection of shovellers, grebes, teal, widgeon etc, mostly on Ness Pit. Geoff |
