A Short-eared Owl hunting down Dunsby Fen this evening was the first I've seen there since October.

Hi Hugh,

I'm a new member but not far from you in Sempringham Fen. I also saw a short eared owl hunting along the Billingborough Lode in our fen last Thursday the 26th.

There's an ancient hedge along the fen road which they seem to roost in, I disturbed three from one spot whilst walking the dog a few weeks ago.

Regards

Stewart
