A 15 mile bike ride this morning whilst accompanying my son training for the London Marathon produced a flock of 12 Crossbills on the roadside at Dog Kennel Wood, 120 Fieldfares at Bleasby Moor and a Little Egret by the beck at East Torrington, my first sighting for the area. I have now become a green lister! |

This morning there were two separate flocks of 7 and 9 Crossbills in the Golf Course/Dog Kennel Wood area. In addition a small flock of 7 Siskins on the Golf Course. |
