Couple of hours stroll through the woods from 10 to 12.30. Large number of bluetits and great tits on the feeders, and several coal tits as well. Was told there had been siskins there earlier. Highlights:
Buzzard (common) As a newcomer to watching, amazed how it slowly travelled over us, spiralling and not flapping its wings, for a good 5 minutes. Magic.
Linnet - 1m, 1f New one for me, so was well pleased.
Brambling - 1m Emerged form the bushes at the side of the Orchid Walk as we got back to the info point.
New reserve fo me - very pleasant, flat walk
