Post subject:  Far Ings, Barton 9/2/09

I decided to visit this afternoon as the sun was shining, within 20 mins of me arriving a thick fog descended over the reserve. Visibility very poor and it turned very cold too!!


1 Marsh Harrier (female) - came very close in front of Ness Hide.
1 Sparrowhawk (m)
1 Goldeneye (m)
2 Bullfinch (m)
Lots Shoveller
A few Gadwall, Teal, Tufted and Pochard.
2 Lapwing over
5 Little Grebe
2 GC Grebe
2 Wren
2 Robin
6 Long Tailed Tit
6 Meadow Pipit
7 Curlew
