Most of the water frozen over. Highlights -

1 Barn Owl
1 Tawny Owl
30+ Siskin
1 Great Spotted Woodpecker
1 Jay
c 100 Teal
5 Wigeon
c50 Curlew
1 Grey Heron ( getting more unusual at MSQ)
c 40 Fieldfare
6 Bullfinch
7 Mistle Thrush
9 Red L Partridge
1 Pink Footed Goose

Alan,

Unless I'm mistaken in the four years I did the WeBS I don't remember getting very many Wigeon has it changed between 2006 and now? I didn't see any last month or December.

Wigeon are still not regular at MSQ, these 5, 3 M and 2F, flew in late afternoon. According to Mal a couple have been around for a few days.
