A very white local patch this afternoon, mere 90% frozen:- 10 Mute Swans 4 Pink-footed Geese with Greylags 58 Greylags on flooded field 6 Gadwall 73 Mallard 3 Pochard 6 Tufted Duck 23 Lapwings, 1 on field and 22 flew W 8 Meadow Pipits on flooded field 2 Willow Tits, different pair to yesterday's birds 1 Coal Tit 3 pairs of Bullfinches Missed the Bittern which Dean & John had seen in flight earlier |
