A very cold, breezy foggy (but a bit of sunshine later) few hours there today:


4 Marsh Harrier
1 Ringtail Harrier
3 Common Buzzard
4 Kestrel
1 Merlin
1 Short Eared Owl
3 Barn Owl
c200 Fieldfare
c60 Goldfinch
2 Great Tit
4 Lapwing (over)
12 Curlew (over)
3 Yellowhammer
4 Chaffinch
2 Robin
3 Goldcrest
8 Meadow Pipit
8 Mute Swan
6 LT Tit
2 Wren
2 Blue Tit
4 Grey Heron
2 Greylags (over)
1 Jay (first I have seen there, in the small wood near the car park)

Also 4 Brown Hare - 2 of which I watched "boxing" for a good 15 mins :D

Nice to meet Terry Whalin this evening - hope you have thawed out Terry!! :lol:
