Went with Dad for about an hour or so 14:00 - 15:00
SPECIES SEEN:
White-fronted Goose - 6 Pintail - 2 Mallard - 5 Little Egret - 1 Redshank - 8 Curlew - 3 calling
Goldfinch - 1 seen on way there Fieldfare - 5 Pheasant - 1 m, 1 f in fields Robin hopping around the car park
USUALS
Collared Dove Woodpigeon Carrion Crow Rook Magpie - 9
After getting in the car, I muttered to dad about it being a pity Barn Owls were being elusive. Then, 30 seconds later, a white shape appears from the left and it's a Barn Owl!!!! Much ironic giggling ensued!
I might have seen some Twite but I am not confident enough to give myself a life tick for it. They were round the car park bushes.
Brief call at Westgate Woods on way back - 2 Brown Hare
PS - Long-tailed Tits were back in the garden at lunchtime!
