Max,
I can help with your query. I was with Richard Gunn when we saw Whooper Swans as follows Autumn/Winter 08/09 :

30 Oct 08
38 Whooper Swans - c1 mile E of Wroot (a favourite area for them )
22 Jan 09
47 Whooper Swans - E of Blaxton, c100 yds S of the B1396 (only c3 miles SW of the Wroot site and in the Lincs/Notts/S Yorks border area).
Bewick's Swans had also been reported in the Blaxton area, but scanning of the herd only revealed Whoopers and a few Mute.

Regards,

Freddy
