Pleasant visit today, cold but sunny: Cracking views of a pair of Marsh Harriers patrolling Ness Lake Goosander (m) (Ness Lake) Smew (m) - firstly on Ness Lake then Pursuit Pit 2 Willow Tit 2 Bullfinch (1m1f) 2 Greenfinch 3 Little Grebe 3 GC Grebe Usual Tit sp. Lots Shoveller and Tufted Duck 1 Grey Heron 1 Goldeneye(m) Quick look at Chowder Ness: Good numbers of SHelduck, Curlew, Lapwing, Redshank and Ringed Plover |
