Spent last hour and half of daylight on the fen this afternoon:- 53 Mute Sawns on stubble kale field. 47 Shovelers on Bardney pits. 2 Sparrowhawks. 1 Common Buzzard. 3 Kestrels. 1 Barn Owl hunting. 1, or 2, Short-eared Owls hunting. 1 Little Owl roosting in open barn. |
