Post subject:  Waters Edge, Barton/Worlaby Carrs 26/11/08

An hour around Waters Edge 8.30am-9.30am produced:

6 Siskin
Lots Goldfinch
1 Treecreeper (thanks Barry!!)

Then on to Worlaby 10.30am-4pm, very quiet for first two hours or so but much better later:

2 Kestrel
4 Common Buzzard
2 Hen Harrier (1 female, 1 juv male)
1 Sparrowhawk
2 Stonechat (1m1f)
3 SEO ( all showing well, on the wing together at same time)
1 Barn Owl
Lots Redshank (on flooded area nr car park)
Large flocks Fieldfare and Starlings
10 Mute Swan
5 Grey Heron
2 Snipe
A few Lapwing
2 Yellowhammer
1 Marsh Harrier (being mobbed by rooks)
