Returning from the coast I stopped to check on a bird of prey in a wheat field near Horsington (buzzard) and was amazed to see a green sand in a puddle by the side of the road. Nocton. 1 adult female Marsh harrier and one first year bird. 27 swans, all mute, 1 little owl and 3 hundred thrushes, mostly fieldfares. Cheers. Rick |
