Seawatch from 08:30 to 14:00:- Red-throated Diver 8 N Gannet 261 (4 adults and 257 juvs) 99% S Shag 1 on sea close inshore Pink-footed Goose 4 N & 17 S Barnacle Goose 12 S Shelduck 1 N Teal 31 N & 8 S Pintail 1 N Tufted Duck 1 N Scaup 1 S Common Scoter 9 N & 2 S Red-breasted Merganser 1 female N Ringed Plover 7 N Sanderling 54 on beach Purple Sandpiper 6 N Dunlin 1 N Snipe 1 N Bar-tailed Godwit 6 on beach Great Skua 1 N & 12 S, including 8 together Arctic Skua 15 S Mediterranean Gull 1 2W on beach Commic Tern 1 N Guilliebill 1 S House Martin 8 N together along front Snow Bunting 2 N along beach With Jim Atkin, Rick Bennett, John Hayes, Roy Harvey, Tony Houseman, Dean Nicholson, Steve Meeks & Terry West. |
