On my way to Kirkby I called at the new quarry workings just before Norton Disney and just after Thurlby pits There must have been about C600 Lapwings there but no other wader that I could see but the sun was not in a good position A Little Egret flew in and good views were had of a Buzzard being harassed by some crows |
