After my WeBS count dropped in on Stantons Pit NR. On flash of water in grass field opposite, not in the pool, (view from trees accross road from reserve entrance) a Wood Sandpiper. Also 4 Grey Herons and 9 Mallard. In the reserve L. grebes over 100 each of Canadas and Greylags, Pochard, Tufted Duck, 7 Swallows, 2 Sand Martins, 2 Blackcaps, 3 Willow Warblers, 1 Chiffchaff. Holywell Lake (WeBS) L. Grebe 4 Grey Heron1 Mute swans 6 Canada Geese 62 Greylags 2 Mallard 97 Teal 12 Shoveler 3 Wigeon 3 Gadwall 5 Tufted Duck 19 Coot 19 Moorhen 21 Swallows 5 Specled Woods 8, Sm Tots and Sm Whites.
