No sign of any of yesterday's Spotted Flycatchers, I assume they all cleared out overnight. Highlights of today were:- 1 juv Shelduck on island 1 Sparrowhawk 1 Kingfisher fishing from perches in front of hide 4 Yellow Wagtails on cow field 1 Juv Whinchat on side of track through wheat field 3 Lesser Whitethroats 2 Whitethroats 2 Willow Warblers |

Also c200 House Martins, c50 Swallows and 2 Swifts high over the mere this evening. |
