New Lake: early afternoon Greenshank - 1 Gulls Winterton Floods assorted ducks and gulls [sun was shining on water and the birds were too far away] Chowder Ness Hirundines - c24 Common Tern - 1 Far Ings Cormorant - 11 over Kingfisher - 1 Sparrowhawk - 1 assorted ducks Sailing Pits Assorted ducks Pasture Wharf Common Sand - 4 Golden Plover - 2 Godwits Lapwing Redshank LBB - 1 Curlew - 6 While on wharf noticed the Air Sea Rescue helicopter fly under the bridge on the Hessle side, never seen that before, we wondered if it was on a mission or training.
