Post subject:  6 Raptor Day at Work

RAF Waddington 08/08/08.
In all the rain today expected nothing much really on the Bird front at Work, just show's how wrong you can be :D :D
Peregrine juvenile female 4 times and there was 1 last week as well. It must have been quite desperate at one stage it tried to be a Merlin but didn't succeed after a 2min chase of a mpip.
Hobby
Sparrowhawk
Marsh harrier female
Kestrel 2juv 1 adult
Buzzard 2.
Marsh harrier was having a go at the peregrine as well.
Wheatear f
Linnet 30 +
Movement of swallows housebound with 300 pushed down at one stage in the rain and low clouds.
It also seems if the mpips have started moving as well.

Cheers Brian
