at 15.55 i spotted a Red Kite over the n/east edge of the reserve,it showed well for 55 minutes over the surrounding fields towards twigmoor and manton, soaring over the duck hide itself, low flying, high soaring etc etc, eventually heading of east over Greetwell at 16.50 where i believe Craig Nimock caught a glimpse of it after i phoned him about it hanging round, hope he saw it.
great bird for msq,my third individual record, and my fourth counting the Manton bird which someone else found.
also:
3 Common sandpipers
1 Dunlin.
regards,
Roger.
