5 Avocets roosting on the spit on the main pit this morning. The water level is dropping and the spit is just starting to show. Also 1 Redshank, 1 male Wigeon, 14 Shelduck, Gadwall, Tufted Duck and Ruddy Ducks. The pit can be viewed from the bank of the River Witham. |
