An hours visit to Far Ings this morning at first light, think today the coldest of the winter so far! Bitterly cold. 1 Drake Smew on Ness Lake ( at one time coming very close to the hide there) Usual Pochard, Tufted Duck, Cormorant etc 2 Little Grebe 2 Great Crested Grebe 1 Kingfisher c12 Tree Sparrow (first we have seen there) at the feeding station, along with numerous Goldfinch, Greenfinch, Great and Blue Tit, Robin, Chaffinch M&M |
