Fantastic few hours late afternoon/evening


2 Short Eared Owls, showing well for over half an hour - an absolute pleasure :)

5 Buzzard
3 Kestrel
1 Marsh Harrier
1 Barn Owl
2 Sparrowhawk
100+ Lapwing
c50 Fieldfare
1 Kingfisher ( sun catching the colours beautifully :) )



Also at Bonby Top, close encounters with 2 Barn Owls

14.00-16.45.
Adult female Hen Harrier(showing very well again).
3 Common Buzzard
2 male Stonechat
3 Short-eared Owl
2 Barn Owl
1 Tawny Owl
2 Green Sandpiper(still havn't seen the Common reported a week or so ago)
500 Wood Pigeon
also Merlin,seen by visiting birder,not myself.
