Birds at Paradise this morning included;

Kingfisher - 1
Swallow - 1
Grey Plover - 1
Dunlin - 2
Ringed Plover - 2
Redshank - 3
Siskin - plenty over

A lone Golden Plover type bird cowering behind a tussock in the nearby sheep field early on looked very much like an American. Unfortunately it escaped while I was taking the scope out of the boot, so I never saw its underwings or which direction it was heading! I failed to relocate it despite an extensive search.

Cheers

Steve

An American Goldie was reported at Sammy's Point Easington this evening at 4.45 p.m., it's only a short flight from Saltfleet to there.
