Not been out for three weeks, so decided to have a few hours locally. It was my intention on going to Normanby Hall CP, but the gateman told me they don't accept discount cards anymore, and I was not paying full admission just for two hours, so turned round and left. Winterton Floods Little Grebe - 11 Great-crested Grebe - 1 Cormorant - 1 Coot - c100 Ruddy Duck - 2 Gulls - c2000 [in distant fields and the pond] Mallard, Greylag... Appleby Carrs House Sparrow - 45 Sawcliffe Curlew - 3 Red-leg Partridge - 1 Although it was windy and drizzling, it was good to get out in the fresh air! |
