Highlights today at Gib and surrounding area; Night Heron - 1 (still showing well at Jackson's) Little Stint - 3 Curlew sandpiper c/10 Pintail - 4 Greenshank - 2 Stonechat - 2 Spotted Flycatcher - 1 Siskin - 5 Avocet - 4 Sand Martin - 1 appearing to feed young House Martin Plus 2 Grass Snakes, 1 alive and 1 dead! Two pec sands flew south overhead this evening. The birds were about 20m apart and calling continuously. It is possible that they could have gone down on Jackosn's Marsh but I was'nt able to follow up. Regards Kev |
