Night Heron still present on Jacksons Marsh. Showing well at times. Spending a lot of time roosting in trees. Easily viewable from the hide. 4 Avocet, 3 Ruff, Little Stint, 100+ Balckwit and 40+ Dunlin on Tennysons Sands. Still 16 Curlew Sand, Little Stint, 50+ Dunlin, 18 Knot, Greenshank and 7 Redshank on Lagoon at north end of reserve. 15 Redwing over first thing Good numbers of Swallows and Mipits moving south with lesser numbers of House and Sand Martins. Pied Fly at Shovellers (Kev Wilson) Still no Pec here though!! Regards Nige |
