A wild and skittish adult Ruddy Shelduck visited the reserve briefly this morning giving Nige Lound and myself a last minute August green tick.
Wonder what's on the agenda for September!!!?

This bird was at Freiston Shore earlier in the day, on the new reservoir before flying off towards the Wash (per Graham Figg and Alex Parker).

Yet another bird thet Freiston gives to Gib! When are you guys going to give us something in return!!?? Your regular dowitcher would be a good start...

Cheers,

Paul

Hi Paul

How about an ornage-billed tern possibly heading your way this evening.

After receiving the report, we checked the gull roost on our bit of the Wash but very few terns. We will check again in the morning but it may have gone straight through.

Other birds (I dipped) here today include barred warbler and osprey!

Cheers

Kev
