Received confirmation that 2 juv red backed shrikes were on the East Dunes yesterday. One of them was trapped and ringed this morning by George Gregory, along with a wryneck. Good numbers of willow warbler, lesser whitethroat and whitethroat here with a couple of pied fly and redstart again. Also, a nightjar flushed off the West Dunes. Kev |

Also 24/08 Whinchat 8 Pied Fly 6 Spot Fly 3 Redstart 4 Wheatear 5 Reed Warbler 7 R B Shrike juv in East Dunes Marsh Harrier 5 Common Buzzard 1 Ruff 3 Pintail 1 Plenty of the commoner warblers enjoying the long awaited sunshine! Regards Nige |
