RBA are reporting a Squacco Heron this morning at Freiston Pool, 8 miles from Grantham. See following link. http://www.rarebirdalert.co.uk/RealData/newsitems.asp
Reported at 10am today

8 miles NNE Grantham, 1/2 mile south Caythorpe, just west of A607, viewable from footpath at 9:30am

Spoke to Steve at Birdguides this afternoon ref Squacco, after several Lincs Birders were questioning the information. I was told by Steve that he can no longer give out information on who reported the sightings due to legal reasons.

The information can only be given to the County Recorder
