The highlights of the WeBS count between Stonebridge and Pye's Hall were 260 Common Scoters, one Velvet Scoter, one Red-breasted Merganser, 200 Wigeon, 22 Pink-footed Geese, 44 Brent Geese, 2 Little Stints, a Common Sandpiper, a Kingfisher, 6 Rock Pipits, 5 Redwings and a Stonechat.

The ringers at the south end trapped over a hundred birds, mostly finches and buntings, but no warblers or Blackbirds and only one Goldcrest.
