Post subject:  Late Hobby record

Hobby 1 Between St. James Deeping and Peakirk. Views from west side of train travelling towards Peterborough. Considering the
location it is possible that this area may well be a Hirundine roosting location because of the nearby disused
gravel pits which may have attracted this Hobby-perhaps more than one on autumn passage?
Incidentally this is my latest ever record for a Hobby in the County. Its sheer elegance, long tapered wings and
very quick and direct flight made this brief encounter a sight to behold.
