3 Cattle Egrets together at Saltfleet st Clements and Sea View Farm today beleived to be a 1st for Lincs. unless you know different?

LB Dowitcher still on Saltfleet Haven today. Hobby over.

At Covenham the RN Phalarope and supporting cast of Curlew Sand, Little Stints, Dunlin, Ringed Plover and Ruff showed well.

I don't KNOW anything but suspect you may be wrong. The records of Cattle Egret in Lincolnshire appear to be as follows (ignoring some early 20th century releases):

1986
North Hykeham, Oct 12th-26th
1992
Messingham, May 6th-10th
Langham, Hogsthorpe, four, May 7th
2008
Saltfleetby, Jan 30th-31st; same Little Cawthorpe, Feb 8th-18th
2010
Donna Nook, Oct 10th to Nov 18th
2013
Tetney Lock & Thoresby Bridge, Sep 7th-27th
Gibraltar Point, Sep 27th, assumed same as Tetney
2014
Susworth, Aug 3rd-11th
Willow Tree Fen, Nov 28th-29th
2016
Deeping Lakes, Jan 12th-14th
Crook Bank, Theddlethorpe, Apr 17th
Stallingborough, Nov 4th
Covenham Res, Nov 8th
Skidbrooke, Nov 13th-Dec 21st
2017
Deeping Lakes, Feb 18th-May 16th
Saltfleetby-Theddlethorpe, Mar 1st-10th
Gibraltar Point, Mar 19th-20th
Alkborough Flats, Mar 21st-24th
Anderby Creek, Apr 16th
Frampton Marsh, two, May 30th-Jun 3rd, then one intermittently (?) to Jul 10th
Baston Fen, three, Aug 24th
Saltfleetby, Sep 9th-13th, then two, Sep 14th-18th, then three, Sep 23rd

All were single birds unless stated. Note that 2016 and 2017 records are preliminary and unverified.

However, there have been three together before, at Baston Fen a month ago (per BirdGuides - I know no more about that) - and also four together near Mablethorpe on 7th May 1992. Those birds were believed to be part of a group of five that had been in Yorkshire the previous day. I am too young to remember that event but have no reason to doubt it being a good record: it was accepted by BBRC (as Cattle Egret was then considered by them).

Thanks Andrew for the clarification. Wasn't sure, that's why I asked the question.
It's good that you have the data to hand.

They are becoming more widespread and I suspect we will witness more multiple sightings in the future.
