Highlights around the realignment area restricted to a Ruff, a Greenshank, a Spotted Redshank, 4 Pintail, 2 Gadwall, 5 Wigeon, a Kingfisher, 2 Common Buzzards and a Marsh Harrier. Could not find the Red-backed Shrike seen earlier at Pye's Hall by GW et al.

The Red-backed Shrike stayed around for at least 30 mins and also at Pyes Hall were a Merlin and a Great Spotted Woodpecker and some Pink footed Geese flew through.

Linda & I walked right round the realignment area late afternoon but no sign of the shrike.
Phil Espin checked the dunes between Pyes Hall and Stonebridge, again with a negative result
so looks like it quickly moved on.
