Sporadic scans of the sea from the dunes at the south end produced just 14 Gannets, 2 Arctic Skuas, 2 Red-throated Divers, 5 Brent Geese and 20 Wigeon. An adult Yellow-legged Gull was onshore. Despite some decent sightings at Spurn, I could find only a Whinchat and a Marsh Harrier on the dunes here. Stock Doves had increased to 60.
