Post subject:  Donna Nook, 30th August.

The evening tern roost movement seen from Pye's Hall resulted in just 290 Common Terns, 3 Arctic Terns and 16 Sandwich Terns. Three Arctic Skuas were harrying terns over the sea. I could not find the Osprey yesterday, but was informed that it was present last night; it was over the sea and also showing well until dark on its regular post again tonight. Also of note were 60 Little Egrets, 2 Common Sandpipers, 3 Greenshanks, a Marsh Harrier and a Kingfisher.

With Barry Bishell.
